This week is a celebration of sake! For those of you who haven’t heard of sake, sake is a Japanese rice wine that can be consumed warm or cold. In Japan, sake is typically served in a special ceremony using a small earthenware or porcelain bottle and consumed from a small porcelain cup called a sakazuki.

Here are some of our favourite sakes (recommended by my good friend and sake sommelier, Carmen):
