Stroller Talk: Why We Chose the UPPAbaby VISTA

After stroller shopping for a few months, we decided the UPPAbaby VISTA was the perfect stroller for our downtown lifestyle. The functionality of having both a bassinet and a toddler seat along with the large under-storage space for groceries was the selling point for us, however, when choosing the right stroller, there are many aspects to consider. 

Before hitting the stores, here are a few questions you might want to think about:

• What will I be using the stroller for?
  • Will this stroller be used daily on uneven downtown streets or is this a vacation stroller that needs to be light and transportable? 
• How often will I need to be using my stroller?
• Will the stroller be going up and down flights of stairs?
• How do I plan to store and transport my stroller?

After considering all of this, we knew we needed something that could take on the bumpy streets of Toronto on a daily basis and could easily fold up to be stored in our very very tiny doorway. Our criteria were easily fulfilled by the UPPAbaby VISTA and the UPPAbaby CRUZ. In the end, we chose the UPPAbaby VISTA because our baby was still an infant and we wanted the newborn bassinet as well as the toddler seat.

The bassinet attachment is perfect for sleeping at home and also going out. As baby grows, the bassinet can be switched out for the toddler seat (at 3 months+). The UPPAbaby VISTA also comes with a bassinet bug shield, bassinet storage bag, toddler seat rain shield, and toddler seat bug shield. 

One thing many parents like about the UPPAbaby system is the ability to swap in the MESA infant car seat to go directly from car to stroller (highly recommended).
